World Congress on Probation and Parole 2022

“The 5th World Congress on Probation and Parole will take place in Ottawa, Canada between 28th September and 1st October 2022. The theme of the Congress will be No One Left Behind, Building Community Capacity. This broad theme provides an opportunity for a wide range of plenary presentations and workshops ranging from community measures and sanctions to post-custody, transition and resettlement. It will encompass examples of good practice in working with communities, marginalised groups, specialised interventions and research findings as well as policy and practice innovations.

There are strong cultural as well as working links between many European countries and Canada. For many, there is ongoing engagement with Canada on criminal justice developments such as risk and need assessment and working with restorative justice initiatives. This World Congress will be a not-to-be-missed opportunity for CEP members to attend, meet and share with international colleagues and contribute presentations.

CEP strongly encourages members, researchers and academics to contribute presentations to and attend the 5th World Congress on Probation and Parole in Ottawa, Canada between 28th September and 1st October 2022.”
